Yes! It’s time for the all new Trivia Quiz for Tuesday January 31st! Brought to us each week by all the very groovy people at Omnivore Recordings! But now it’s time for a brand new SMS Trivia question:
in May 1966 The Beatles released their seventh single “Paperback Writer” a record that reminded all of us that The Beatles were a ROCK band! The band delivered one of their most aggressive and dynamic performances on record and demanded that EMI ( their record label) “Master” their recording at a greater volume than any of their previous records, as well as a greater emphasis on Paul’s bass! If “Paperback Writer” sounded louder to you it’s because it Is! Ahh but we digress, it’s Paul who delivers the searing, powerful lead vocal with George and John handling the background vocals, but they don’t come in until the third verse!
