The SMS Trivia Question of the Week 10 / 10…

YES! It is time for an all new SMS Trivia Quiz for Tuesday October 10th! Brought to us by all the groovy people at Omnivore Recordings! Your only one true option for all the music you didn’t know, you didn’t know! But! Before we raise the curtain on this weeks question, we’d like to recognize the brilliant readers who weighed in on last week’s quiz, which was all about The Byrds and  one of their many classic hits, “Turn, Turn, Turn” First in with nearly all the right answers was long time contributor and old colleague Mr. Jeff Conroy! Followed closely by “The Wizard” Mr. Steve Winogradsky with all the right answers including the specific Biblical passage we were looking for! Mr. Fred Vogel, Mr. John Zambetti and Mr. Curtis Stone all chimed in and nailed the quiz! Very impressive how well you know your Biblical references! Ahh the power of 60’s Music!  Or sumthin like that!…Can I get an Amen ?

But Now, Here’s your brand new SMS Trivia Quiz for Tuesday October 10th! Take a good look at our list of 13 classics from our favorite decade!  They all share one common and very important element, except one! Yes one of these 60’s greats should not be included on the list, and we need you to tell us which title does not include this important element and should not be included in our list ?

1) tell us the common element that is shared by all 13 songs….Except one, that’s right, one song on the list doesn’t feature this common and vital element! And w e need you to identify  which song that is and what exactly is it missing ?

2) Additionally we’d like you to pick a song of your choosing that could be included in our list ?

        Good catch and all my apologies!
        Immediately after I published this weeks quiz, I realized , I had errored by including “Baby I Need Your Lovin” I quickly revised the question! However it’s obvious I wasn’t quick enough ! So sorry for the confusion and as I have said before “YOU ARE GOOD!

  4. Just a stab in the dark. ALL by Motown groups but #1 is Marvin Gaye solo instead of a group? I’ll toss in fave Jimmy mack as addition song.
