Which was: We asked a series of questions about three names that appear in a particular Beatle song! First in and with a couple attempts was SMS Super Genius Clark Besch! Good try,but maybe this week Clark. Hot on his heels were two more SMS Super Genius’s Edmund Clark Simmons and Fred Vogel!  Lastly, our old friend and new regular contributor Mr. Barry Volk chimed in partially correct! 1. 1. “Heckling Perturbed Men” unscrambles to ”Bret ”Chipmunk” Legendre”.
    2. Legendre was the name of the character played by Bela Lugosi in the 1932 film, ”White Zombie”. Bela Lugosi’s real name was Béla Ferenc Blaskó.
    3. Bela Lugosi’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was mentioned in ”Celluloid Heroes” by the Kinks. Three of their hits were You Really Got Me, Tired of Waiting For You and Dandy.
    4. Lugosi lived at 6525 Sunset Blvd (The Hollywood Athletic Club) in the 1930’s. The building was owned by Michael Jackson’s family for a short time in the 1980’s. Ringo and Mama Cass knew Michael Jackson. (OK, that last one’s a stretch.)

Is this s trick question, my friend?

    • Hey Fred,
Good catch! And no, not a trick at all! I had a busy morning , heard our Anagram on the radio and bingo an unusual SMS “re run! Although we did throw in the “property” element! We promise a all new 100% original question next week! Jeeze, nothing gets past you!
Lastly, do you know what property he and Ringo both owned on separate occasions?
      Rick

      • I do not. Possibly the one with the pubic-haired statues?
As an aside, I did exchange peace signs with Ringo driving through an intersection on Sunset way back when. My only interaction with any of the Fab Four.
