The SMS Trivia Question of the Week 2 / 20…

Indeed! It’s time for the all new SMS Trivia question for Tuesday February 20th. Brought to us every Tuesday morning by all the groovey people at Omnivore Recordings! Your perfect destination for all the music you didn’t know, you didn’t know! However, before we reveal this weeks question,  we’d like to recognize the brilliant readers who chimed in on last week’s question, which was all about the great Tony Joe White and his mega hit Polk Salad Annie from 1969! First in ( which happens so very often) was long time reader and certified SMS Super Genius Mr. Fred Vogel! Following Fred was our old friend and colleague Mr. Larry in Munich! Mr. Andrew Taylor dropped by and nailed the question, as did another old friend and colleague the ever – brilliant Jeffery Conroy!  Followed by our little sister Ms. Julie Shoemaker!  Lastly, wrapping things up was Mr. Ken Jones! Congrats to the lady and Gents one and all!

But now, it’s time for the all new SMS Trivia Quiz for Tuesday February 20th:

With a look, a sound and their name they convinced their burgeoning audience that The Beau Brummels had to be straight outta Liverpool and an integral part of “The British Invasion” but that couldn’t be further from the truth! However The Beau Brummels can be credited with jump starting “The  San Francisco Sound” Further emphasized by the fact that their producer who was also from “The Bay Area and enjoyed a string of hits of his own! Ah, but here’s where you come in! We need you to give us the titles to  The Beau Brummels back to back hits from 1965 ? Additionally, give us the name of their Superstar producer,  as well as the titles to at least three of  HIS  hits ? Lastly, give us the name of the songwriter who wrote The Beau Brummels early hits ( Yes he was a band member)
