The SMS Trivia Question of the Week 6/30

Yes! It’s “Trivia Tuesday” for June 30th, brought to us each week by all the Groovey people at Omnivore Recordings! Your number one resource for all the music you didn’t know, you didn’t know! However, before we get to this week’s question, we’d like to recognize all the Groovey readers who answered last week’s question, which was: We asked you for the actual titles of the opening and closing musical themes from the Warner Bros. Cartoon series’ “Looney Tunes”and “Merrie Melodies” The correct titles of these two themes are “The Merry Go Round Broke Down” and “Merrily We Roll Along”…First in with all the right answers was our old friend “Looney” Larry in Munich! Way to go Larry and Danke Schoen! Next in was Mr. Curtis Stone!  Who actually showed up twice!! You more than nailed it Mr. Stone! But! Next up sitting cross legged on the floor was Little Brother Robert Shoemaker! Always great to see you here Bruddah! Thanx and don’t be a stranger! Following “Little Robbie” was a new reader at SMS, SO, A BIG WARM WELCOME to Mary Rn congrats Mary and we hope you stick around and join the on going conversation! And! Lastly, but never leastly was Ron Wood, correctly answering the question with his usual flare of prose, poetry, detail and wit! Always great to see you “Woody”

But now! It’s time for this week’s new Trivia Question!  And this week it’s an Anagram!…Here’s your Anagram:  Musical Carpentry…  Tell us who that unscrambles to become? Tell us what his middle name is? Tell us what his brother’s name is? Tell us the name of his brother’s band? AND to earn SMS Super Genius status, give us the title to at least one song from his brother’s band

In summary, here’s what we need:

  1. I’ll just add that the only song by The Scaffold to make the Billboard Top-100 was: Thank U Very Much (it peaked at #69 in 1968

      You are correct, however “Lily The Pink” went to number one in the U.K. and was Top Ten in nearly every other country n the world except the U.S.
