Yes indeed, it is time for the all new SMS Trivia question for Tuesday, July 26th!
However! As some of you may know, the pesky Covid 19 bug found it’s way “Over the transom” and infected the staff and editors even up here in the majestic and palatial offices and studio’s of Sixties Music Secrets! Everyone has fully recovered and feeling fine but it did demand a pause in our preparation of this week’s Trivia Quiz! All apologies from SMS, but unfortunately there will be no new Trivia question this week! However, we beg your patience and promise there will be our usual fare of a challenging and thought provoking Trivia Quiz next Tuesday August 2nd! As we used to say in the 1960’s “Be There Or Be Square”
Meanwhile! regardless of the status of this week’s Quiz, we’d still like to recognize all the brilliant readers who weighed in on last week’s question, which was: all about one of our fave 60’s classic’s “Along Comes Mary” by The Association! First in with all the correct answers was “The Legend” Mr. Steven Winogradsky! ( natch) Following Mr. W. Was another SMS High Roller, but late sleeper Mr. Jeffery Conroy! Next reader to weigh in strong was our newest regular reader and classy lady 60’s Genius Ms. Paula Verrengia! Where are the rest of you brilliant gals? Great to see Mr. Tom Slocum chime in! He may have been joking but either way he missed the correct answer! Hang in there Tommy Boy there’s a new trivia question just “Eight Days Away” Finally closing out last weeks quiz was our favorite bass player and very old friend the talented Mr. Curtis Stone! …As Johnny Cymbal sang in 1963 “I Wanna be a bass man too”
Big Thanx and congrats lady and gents!
