Finally, a question I can deal with. “I Think It’s Gonna Rain Today.” Love it! Written by Randy Newman. He also wrote “I Love LA”, “Sail Away,” and “Short People”(to which I took offense being of petite stature myself). He wrote the scores for “Toy Story 1 & 2” and “A Marriage Story.” Alas, I have no idea about his first album. I could search it but that would be cheating.

Well, as another great 60’s Singer / Songwriter once sang “Hallelujah” we finally roped you in!! And you nailed it! As far as not knowing the title to Randy’s debut album, the sad truth is almost nobody knows the record, even back in 1968 upon it’s release! Word was, it was certified “Lead” as opposed to “Gold” or “Platinum”
