The SMS Trivia Question for the Week 1 / 24 / 23…

Yes!It’s time for the all new Trivia Quiz for Tuesday January 24th! Brought to us by all the Groovey people at Omnivore Recordings! Your number one stop for all the music you didn’t know, you didn’t know! However, before we deep dive into this weeks question, we’d like to recognize all the brilliant readers who weighed in on last week’s quiz, which was all about Uber songwriter Jimmy Webb and all of his great music! First in with all the right answers and more was our usual “lead dog Mr. Steve Winogradsky with a close second was another “Charter Member “SMS Super Genius” Mr. Fred Vogel! Congrats and big thanx to both you brilliant Gents! But, don’t get too comfortable there’s a new and more challenging question just below!:

Here’s your brand new trivia question for Tuesday January 24th!  In the early 60’s Colgate Palmolive introduced there latest household cleaning  product called “Ajax Bleaching Cleanser”, included in their promotion of the product, a T.V. Campaign was launched with a T.V. Commercial that included a typical sounding “Jingle.” Our question to you is which hugely popular and successful 60’s band “borrowed a part of the jingle and included it in one of their many hits? We’ll need to know which hit song includes this Jingle “sample” The name of the band who used it and of course what did the jingle say?

( first, allow us to assure you we’re not joking)

In summary, here’s what we need:
