The SMS Trivia Question of the Week 1 / 16 / 24…

Yes! We are back with an all new 60’s music Trivia Quiz brought to us every Tuesday morning by all the very groovy folks at  Omnivore Recordings! Your perfect destination for all the awesome music you didn’t know, you didn’t know! Since we didn’t run  a Trivia Quiz last week, this week we’re jumping straight into this week’s all new question:
Here’s your brand new quiz for Tuesday January 16th.  Take a good look at the list of ten of our favorite Motown hits from the 1960’s! All of these classic’s share a huge common element,( beyond all being on Motown) except one! Yes one of these greats doesn’t belong on this list and we need YOU to tell us which one of these great song’s  should not be included on our list and why ? Additionally, we need YOU to add a title of your choice that could qualify  and be included on our list ?

In Summary, here’s what we need:

1) Tell us what important element each of these classics have in common ? (Beyond all being Motown hits)

2) However, we need you to tell us which one of the 10 classics doesn’t include this important element and Should  not be included in the list ?

3) lastly, we need you to give us an additional title of your choice that could be included on our list ?

  3. Except for “My Girl,” all of these songs were written by Holland, Dozier & Holland.

    My Girl was written by Smokey Robinson.

    Another Holland, Dozier & Holland song to be included is “Come Get These Memories” that was recorded by Martha and the Vandellas
