Coming into the fourth quarter mile and it’s Trivia Tuesday for Oct. 1st. Brought to us each week by “All the Groovey People”over at Omnivore Recordings! The only place you’ll ever find “All the music you didn’t know, you didn’t know” But! Before we get to this week’s quiz, we’d like to recognize “All the Groovey Readers” who answered last week’s question, which was: We asked for the names of four 60’s Superstars who sadly, were members of the infamous “27 Club”? First in, our favorite fast fingered friend,Fred Vogel correctly sighting Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison and Brian Jones from The Rolling Stones. “jinky”Julie Ismert took second AND correctly included the sad dates of their passing! Way to go Freddie and Jules! Ah, but that ain’t everybody! Jammin’ Jimmy Gorman weighed in as well with a cool link about the “27 Club” and our favorite Rock Star namesake Ronnie wood dropped in and shared a brief bit of his “Infinite Wisdom” Big SMS Thanx and congrats to Fred who’s getting a very Groovey Omnivore CD!
But now! It’s time for this week’s new question: According to this number 1 Record from 1964!. There once lived “A Little Old Lady From Pasadena” Who had the hit with this clever “Car Song” What local Blvd. did she Terrorize with her high speed driving? What color make and model of car did she drive? Where did she keep this hot car? And in her off time what did she grow in her Flower Bed? And of course, for SMS Extra Credit can you name one more classic “Car Song” from our favorite 60’s duet, and what street it took place on?
In summary, here’s what we need:
1) Who sang “The Little Old Lady From Pasadena” ?
2) What Street did she “Terrorize” with her driving?
3) What color, make and model car did she drive?
4) Where did she keep he car parked?
5) This Little Old Lady grew flowers, what kind of flowers did she grow?
6) For SMS Extra Credit, Give us the title to at least one more classic “Car Song” from this great duet and what famous street IT took place on?
While you enjoy your ride down memory lane, why not pause and browse the link to the Omnivore Recordings Homepage we provided just below and enjoy some “Driving” music!

Some “TRICKY”stuff goin’on this week!!?? But I’ll take a stab at the group in question is JAN & DEAN..not the Beach Boys as I first thought untill you snuck in the reference to a “DUET”…tricky stuff! Their (PASADENA) SONG tells us she tore up “Colorado Bl.” in a shinny new RED SUPER STOCK DODGE which she kept in an old rickety garage shack like place and she did grow White Gardenias.
They also recorded a precient song called DEAD MAN’S CURVE which is located up on SUNSET BL.
