Which was: We wanted to know everything about “The Little Old Lady From Pasadena!  Who sang this clever hit? what street she drove? What kind of car did she drive? Where did she park her car and what kind of flowers did she grow in her garden?   The correct answer, of course, is Jan and Dean, Colorado Blvd,  A shiny Red Super Sport Dodge, parked in a Rickity old garage!  And she grew White Gardenias in her garden! Surprisingly, only tthree of you folks showed up with the correct and complete answer: Freakin’ Fast Freddie Vogel, Steven Wildfire Winogradsky  and “No, I’m not THAT Ron Wood. Congrats Gents, with a cool Omnivore CD on it’s way to Mr. Wood!

  1. Thunderclap Newman, Something in the Air..I think Pete Townsend ( the original guitar slinger) produced

  2. “Something in the Air” by Thunderclap Newman.
    Produced by Pete Townsend.
Featured in the film, Magic Christian, with the great Peter Sellers

As a side note, whenever I played this song, I would add my own last verse:
Call out the bomb squad, baby
    Because something’s gonna blow
We’re gonna to tear down this old nation
And a new one’s gonna grow
    And you know it’s right…

    • Hey Fred,
Always a pleasure when you show up, but this week is particularly fun!
Love your additional verse! It fits in seamlessly!
Hmmmmm, were you a ghost writer on the original?
      As always great stuff Fred!
      Thanx,
      Rick
