The SMS Trivia Question of the Week 11/26

Before you eat too much and doze off, take time for Trivia Tuesday, Nov. 26th. But, before we get to this weeks question, we like to give thanx to our friends at Omnivore Recordings, who make the Trivia Quiz happen each week, but more importantly they offer up only the greatest music you never knew, you never knew! Meanwhile, we’d like to say thanx and congrats to the brilliant readers who weighed in on last weeks question, which was: We gave you the following lyric, “We are billion year old carbon” We asked you, which classic song featured the lyric,  who wrote it and who recorded it ? The correct answer is, of course “Woodstock “ written by Joni Mitchell! Recorded by her and a few of her friends!
First in with all the correct answers was, as he often is: Fast Freddie Vogel! YOU are on it Fred! But, close on his heels, was Mz. Denise Shoemaker! Way to go Denise,  YOU NAILED IT! Curtis Stone swooped in at third and shared a little local color while correctly answering the question! Our “Penultimate” contender last week was Owen Congrats and thanx to you Owen! And lastly but certainly not leastly, our old friend Ron Wood took the final position and didn’t miss a detail! Gynormus SMS CONGRATS TO THE LADY AND THE GENTS!

But now, it’s time for this weeks Trivia Quiz:  This week our question will focus on two of our favorite T.V. Shows from the 1960’s ! Two of the decades most popular programs were “Spy” programs! Including The Man From U.N.C.L.E. And I Spy. Here’s the set up: Both programs featured two male leads who we’re teamed up to fight international Crime, Spy’s and Bad guys! And here’s what we need:

1) From “The Man From U.N.C.L.E., The real names of the two male leads and the names of the characters they played?

2) From “I Spy”, The real names of the two male leads and the names of the characters they played

3) Tell us what U.N.C.L.E. Stands for?

4) One of the four male leads actually had a top ten hit record in the late 60’s! What is the title of that record, and who performed it?

In summary, here’s what we need: The real names of the four actors that played the four lead roles and their characters names from “I Spy” and The Man From U.N.C.L.E. ?  What does U.N.C.L.E. Stand for? And what is the title to the only hit record from one of the four leads ?
