The SMS Trivia Question of the Week 3 / 7…

Yes indeed! It’s time for the all new SMS trivia quiz for Tuesday March 7th. Brought to us each week by all the very Groovey people at Omnivore Recordings! Your only real option for all the music you didn’t know, you didn’t know! But now, since we couldn’t post anything last week, This week we’re jumping straight to this weeks question, And it ain’t gonna be an easy one!

 

Here’s the brand new Trivia Question for Tuesday March 7th:  Take a long look at this very brief lyric below and tell us what unique and unusual hit from 1969 features the lyric and the name of the artist who wrote and recorded this 60’s classic, and a wee bit more! (Yes , that’s him in the photo)

    Peter Sarstedt wrote the song and recorded it
    Leonard Cohen also recorded it.
    He wrote The Good Life which Mr. Bennett recorded…and what a hit song!!

      Great to see YOU back! You, as usual nailed the question! However I’m curious about your reference to Leonard Cohen recording the song as well! I don’t recall ever hearing his version! So I jumped on line and did a deep dive, but found nothing! Perhaps you heard him do it live somewhere? Either way I’d love to hear Leonard’s version, to me it’s a perfect song for him!
      Got any tips? Congrats yet again for being first in with all the goods!
