The SMS Trivia Question Of The Week! 5/28

Yes, once more it’s Trivia Tuesday for May 28th! Brought to us each Tuesday morning by the Fab Folks at Omnivore Recordings! Your first stop for, among other things, all the music you didn’t know, you didn’t know ! Be sure to check them out !

Now, before we get to this week’s question we’d like draw your attention to all the brilliant readers who answered last week’s question, which was:  Give us the titles to four songs that went to number one between 1958 and 1963 that were sung completely in a language other than English! first in was Larry in Munich Larry was in first but didn’t quite nail the question!  Close call Lar! Next in with 3 outta 4 was Julie, sorry but your  fourth title “j t’ame” was a great one but it didn’t come out til 1967 sorry Jules! Next in Mark L Chapman, who tried to slip in “Tequila” by the Champs! But, for us One shouted word DOES NOT MAKE A LYRIC,  However Mark we certainly enjoy and respect your approach! And of course our old friend Ron Wood weighed in with 3 outta 4 but we loved Ron’s idea of including the lyric from “Louie Louie, ( that sure sounded like a foreign language to us! ) and had us laughing out loud! Way to go Wood! So, for the second week in a row, NO ONE QUALIFIES FOR A GROOVEY Omnivore Recordings CD. However a new Trivia Question is just below!!!

So, here it is, this week’s new Trivia Question: This week’s question is an Anagram.  “Hell Rotting Noses” Tell us who they are and give us the five names of the original group members?……And, for extra credit give us the name of their original Manager / Producer?

As you “Mull over” this week’s question, why not click on the link to Omnivore Recordings Which we provided just below. You WILL have a great time!

  1. I noticed I just threw out Mick Taylor’s name sorta out of the blue. I thought of him since he came into the Stones after Mick Taylor left.

    • Thanx Woody,
But we believe you meant “Since he came into the Stones after BRIAN JONES left”
That is what you meant to say yes?
      Thank Wood Man,
      Shoe

  2. This is a timely question for me since we recently watched a BBC “Cold Case” episode alleging the apparent MURDER of one of these band members [after he left the band he was co-founded. But the scrambled letters I believe to be THE ROLLING STONES and I am referring to co-founder/leader Brian Jones. The other members were Mick Jagger, my fav Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Bill Wyman. I am sorry but I do not know their original producer/manager. I have always been a big fan of Mick Taylor. I like his song and work on ‘Time Waits For No One!!!!
    thanx…wood
