The SMS Trivia Question of the Week 9 / 3…

Good morning fellow Trivialities! We’re back with an all new trivia question for Tuesday September third! Brought to us each week at this time by all the Groovey people at Omnivore Recordings! Your only true destination for the most awesome music you didn’t know, you didn’t know! However, before we reveal  this week’s quiz, we ‘d like to recognize the brilliant  readers who weighed in on last week’s question, which was all about the Jimi Hendrix classic ”Wait Till Tomorrow” First in with all the right answers and more is our old friend and colleague Mr. Jeffery Conroy!Followed closely by long time “Super Genius Mr. Clark Besch! Lastly, our old friend and favorite Bass player Mr. Curtis Stone wrapped things up and shared a few stories as he often does! Thank you geniuses  / gentlemen and congrats one and all!

But now, it’s time for the brand new trivia quiz for Tuesday, August third:

For most of us here at SMS, The Monkees  are one of our favorite Guilty Pleasures from the 1960’s! The T.V. program was clever and innovative and the songs and records were just damn great! Which is why this week’s trivia question is entirely devoted to “The Pre Fab Four”

Lets begin with a question about Peter Tork: When auditioning for The Monkees Peter shared an apartment in Hollywood! Peter’s roommate, who also tried out for The Monkees,  would go on to become a musical Superstar! Give us the  name of this Rock icon ? Next up, Michael Nesmith: Mike’s mother can maker her own claim to fame as an inventor! What did Mike’smother famously invent ? Now, on to DaveyJones:  Prior to his stint as a Monkee, Davey made his show biz debut, appearing in a lead role in a Popular Broadway musical! Give us  the name of the musical and the name of the character he played? Mickey Dolenz: Prior to his success with The Monkees, Mickey played the title character in a popular weekly T.V. Series! Give us  the title of this short lived series ? Lastly, give us the title of their one and only feature film that was released in 1968 and failed miserably?

In summary, here’s what we need:
